Merchants

A merchant represents the entity that uses our payment services. All transactions in the system are linked to a merchant, which serves as the central reference for payments and related operations

Merchants

We provide different merchant models to accommodate diverse business types, ensuring that each industry can integrate and operate seamlessly within our payment ecosystem.

Betting Merchants

Betting merchants are required to hold a transactional account with one of our banking partners, in compliance with Brazilian regulations. This account is necessary to process Pix payments and ensure legal alignment with financial and gaming authorities.

All operations related to making deposits and withdrawals in the bettor’s graphic account with the betting operator, or receiving prize amounts due, must be executed through this transactional account.

Within a single license, each commercial brand will be treated as an individual merchant in our system, each with its own dedicated transactional account.

🎰

To ensure resilience and fallback capabilities, we recommend that merchants maintain transactional accounts with all of our supported banking providers. This setup allows us to route operations through alternative providers in case of service disruptions or downtime, ensuring uninterrupted payment processing.

Other Merchants

For merchants from other industry segments, there are different setup options available. In most cases, clients will be able to create multiple merchants to manage their operations. Each merchant will have a graphic account with an individual balance, which operates behind the client transactional account held with one of our banking partners.

Balances

Merchants maintain different types of balances depending on their business model and integrations. These balances provide distinct perspectives on the merchant’s funds.

Net Balance

The net balance represents the transaction amount after discounting all associated taxes. Although taxes are accounted for in this value, in reality, these taxes are deducted later in batches.

Gross Balance

The gross balance reflects the actual funds available. Only taxes linked to a specific operation will affect this balance.

The difference between the gross balance and the net balance represents taxes that will be deducted in future operations.

Balance by banking provider

The actual funds held in each banking provider’s account, as reported by the respective institution. These values reflect the real-time (or nearst) balance in the external banking systems.
